Hawaii Ocean Rafting is proudly Owned and Operated by a Native Hawaiian and Lahaina local. Peter and his wife Toni are long time residents of Maui and Peter’s Hawaiian heritage plays an important role in the daily operations of Hawaii Ocean Rafting.
The land and ocean are sacred and it’s our passion to share an experience that inspires visitors to respect our Hawaiian culture, our land, the ocean and each other.

Honesty and integrity are taught by our conduct, not our words. We work as a team with clear and fair expectations, respect and appreciation for each other while finding enjoyment in sharing Maui’s adventures with our visitors.
We want visitors to learn to be pono and not only respect our island and culture, but take that positive mana (or energy) back home with them.
Adapting is a part of connecting with our visitors while proudly sharing our culture.
We are working to create an authentic experience that gives visitors a glimpse of Maui’s life giving mana while educating about marine life, our ocean, culture and how we all play a role in caring for the ‘aina God has blessed us with.

Our small group, family style experience means every guest gets one-on-one with our team. From the booking experience to the moment you step off the boat, we want you to learn what our island and culture are about and grow your connection with it. As you feel more of a part of our Maui ohana, we believe you will in turn see yourself as a part of the solution to caring for our island and its culture, even as a visitor.

One-to-Ohana

>16 or less guests on our rafting tours gives every adventurer one-on-one with our crew and a chance to share the fun with other travelers.
Our rafting vessels are 27 foot hard bottom inflatables modeled after coast- guard rescue rafts for their maneuverability and low to water ride.
Seeing a whale breach for the first time or swimming with turtles is a magical experience best shared in a small group, with lots of laughs, storytelling and personal connection.
We’re here to make sure everyone gets the chance to have that one-to-ohana experience and the memories to go with it.
